Who We Are:
WALRAA is a professional development organization comprised of legal human resource personnel from law firms, law schools, and government agencies in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
Organized in 1985, WALRAA adopted its by-laws in 1998 and incorporated as a 501(c) (6) in 2001. Information about the current WALRAA Board of Directors can be found under the About Us tab of this site and on the Officers and Directors page.
With over 250 members, WALRAA is one of the largest and most active organizations of its kind. Through its monthly meetings, conferences, programs and social gatherings, WALRAA strives to provide a forum for education, ideas, friendship and camaraderie among its members.
