Under WALRAA Bylaws, only authorized members (defined as law firms, government agencies, and law schools resident in such member’s Maryland, Virginia or Washington, D.C. Area office) may apply for membership.  A member organization may enroll several of its authorized representatives.

Membership is valid January 1 – December 31 of the membership year. WALRAA’s annual dues are $170.00 per representative from law firms and $105.00 per representative from law schools and government agencies.  Any membership fees purchased for the 2024 membership year between July 1, 2024 - December 31, 2024 will be 50% of our annual membership fee.  Credit card payments via Wild Apricot Payments is our preferred payment optionIf you're unable to process your membership payment via credit card, please contact both Katina Whitehead, WALRAA Secretary, and Sherry Bridge, WALRAA Treasurer, with your questions and concerns.

Memberships for WALRAA representatives reside with the law firm, government agency or law school.  Members shall have the right to change their representative(s).  If a representative relocates to another WALRAA member organization, and is not replacing a paid representative at that organization, that representative must join WALRAA as a new member.  Members shall provide written notice of the new designee to the WALRAA President and Secretary.
